1. Scope and purpose
This Research Use Policy governs the sale, purchase, and use of all materials supplied by BNM Research Peptides LLC ("BNM Research Peptides," "we," "us," or "our"). It applies to every visitor to this website and to every person or entity that places an order with us ("you," "Buyer").
This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service and forms part of the contract between you and us. By accessing this website, submitting an order, or taking delivery of any material from us, you accept this Policy in full. If you do not accept it, you must not use this website and must not purchase from us.
Where this Policy conflicts with any other statement, listing, message, or communication, this Policy controls.
2. What we sell
BNM Research Peptides is a supplier of chemical reagents. We supply synthetic peptides and related compounds in lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder form, intended for use as reference materials and test articles in controlled in-vitro laboratory research conducted by qualified persons.
We are a chemical supplier only. We are not:
- a pharmacy, a compounding pharmacy, or an outsourcing facility as those terms are defined under sections 503A and 503B of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act;
- a drug manufacturer, a repackager, or a wholesale drug distributor;
- a clinic, a medical practice, a laboratory offering testing services, or any kind of healthcare provider;
- a source of medical, veterinary, pharmaceutical, nutritional, or scientific advice.
Our materials are not produced under pharmaceutical current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) conditions. They are not sterile. They are not certified pyrogen-free or endotoxin-tested. They are not formulated, packaged, or labeled for administration to any living subject, and no aspect of our supply chain is designed or validated for that purpose.
3. Regulatory status
None of the materials we supply has been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for any use in humans or animals. No material we supply is an approved drug, a licensed biologic, a cleared device, or a substance generally recognized as safe.
No statement made on this website, in any listing, in any Certificate of Analysis, or in any communication from us has been evaluated by the FDA. No statement we make should be read as a claim that any material diagnoses, treats, cures, mitigates, or prevents any disease or condition, or that it affects the structure or function of the human or animal body. We make no such claim, and we expressly disclaim any implication of one.
Certain materials in our catalog may be subject to additional federal, state, or local restrictions, and certain materials appear on the prohibited lists of sporting and athletic organizations, including the World Anti-Doping Agency. It is your responsibility, not ours, to determine and comply with every law, regulation, rule, licence condition, and institutional requirement applicable to your acquisition, possession, use, and disposal of any material you purchase from us.
4. Buyer eligibility
We sell to qualified buyers only. To purchase from BNM Research Peptides you must satisfy all of the following at the time of order and at the time of delivery:
- you are at least 21 years of age;
- you are purchasing on behalf of a laboratory, academic or research institution, government body, or business entity engaged in legitimate research activity, and you are authorised to bind that organisation;
- you possess the technical training, facilities, and equipment necessary to handle chemical reagents of unknown biological activity safely;
- you are located in, and are requesting delivery to, a jurisdiction within the United States in which the material may lawfully be received;
- you are not acquiring the material for personal use, for resale to consumers, or on behalf of any person who intends to use it in or on a human or an animal.
We verify accounts before releasing a first order and may request documentation of institutional or business affiliation at any time. We reserve the absolute right to refuse, limit, delay, or cancel any order, or to decline or close any account, for any lawful reason or no reason, including where the stated or apparent purpose of a purchase falls outside laboratory research.
5. The research use covenant
Every order requires you to affirm the following covenant. The covenant is recorded with your order and retained. It is a material term of the sale, and we would not sell to you without it.
By submitting an order, you represent, warrant, and covenant that:
(a) you are at least 21 years of age and are acting on behalf of a laboratory, institution, or business engaged in research;
(b) all materials purchased will be used solely for in-vitro laboratory research conducted by or under the supervision of qualified personnel;
(c) you will not administer any material to, or permit any material to be administered to, any human being or any animal, by any route, in any quantity, under any circumstance;
(d) you will not resell, transfer, gift, or otherwise distribute any material to any person you know or reasonably suspect intends to use it in or on a human or an animal, and you will impose these same restrictions on any lawful downstream transferee;
(e) you will not use any material in the manufacture of, or as an ingredient in, any drug, supplement, food, cosmetic, or medical device;
(f) you will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, licence conditions, and institutional policies governing your receipt, handling, use, storage, and disposal of the material;
(g) you accept sole and exclusive responsibility for all consequences arising from your possession and use of the material, and for the safety of every person who may come into contact with it while under your control;
(h) every statement you have made to us in connection with your account and your order is true and complete.
Providing a false affirmation is a breach of contract. It voids all warranties, remedies, and refund rights otherwise available to you, and it entitles us to cancel outstanding orders, close your account, retain records of the transaction, and pursue any remedy available at law.
6. Prohibited uses and conduct
The following are strictly prohibited and constitute a material breach of this Policy:
- administering, ingesting, injecting, inhaling, applying, or otherwise introducing any material into or onto a human being or an animal;
- preparing, reconstituting, compounding, aliquoting, or repackaging any material for the purpose of such administration;
- purchasing on behalf of another person for the purpose of such administration, or acting as an intermediary for a person who would not themselves qualify as a buyer;
- reselling or redistributing any material to consumers, or in a manner or context that markets it for personal, athletic, cosmetic, wellness, anti-aging, or health-related use;
- using our materials in any clinical trial, human-subject research, or veterinary application;
- misrepresenting your identity, age, affiliation, location, or intended use to us or to any payment or shipping provider;
- removing, obscuring, altering, or failing to carry forward the "For Laboratory Research Use Only — Not for Human or Veterinary Use" designation on any material you transfer onward;
- attributing to BNM Research Peptides any claim regarding results, effects, benefits, applications, or suitability for use.
7. No use guidance is provided
This is a firm and deliberate policy, and it is not negotiable.
BNM Research Peptides does not provide, publish, host, endorse, or link to information regarding the preparation, reconstitution, dilution, quantity, frequency, timing, route, combination, cycling, or administration of any material we supply. We provide no protocols. We provide no application notes describing use in or on living subjects. We provide no dosing information of any kind, for any species, in any context.
Our personnel are instructed not to answer such questions, whether asked by email, telephone, web form, social media, or any other channel. A request for this information will not receive a substantive reply. Repeated requests, or a request that indicates an intention to use a material in or on a human or an animal, may result in cancellation of pending orders and permanent closure of your account.
Determining suitable laboratory methodology, appropriate controls, applicable safety precautions, and compliance obligations is exclusively the responsibility of the qualified purchaser. If you require guidance of this nature, you are not a qualified purchaser and you should not order from us.
8. The limits of our analytical data
Each lot is submitted to an independent analytical laboratory and is supplied with a lot-specific Certificate of Analysis ("CoA"). The CoA is an analytical record. It reports what was measured, for the lot tested, on the date of analysis, using the methods stated on its face.
The CoA is not:
- a certificate of fitness, suitability, or safety for any purpose;
- a representation that the material is sterile, pyrogen-free, endotoxin-tested, or otherwise appropriate for administration to a living subject;
- a representation that the material was produced under cGMP or any pharmaceutical quality system;
- an approval, endorsement, or clearance by any regulatory authority;
- a warranty that the material will perform in any particular way in your hands.
Purity is reported as percent area by RP-HPLC unless otherwise stated on the CoA. Analytical results are specific to the lot tested and do not carry across lots. You are responsible for confirming the identity and suitability of any material for your intended laboratory application before use.
9. Handling, storage, and disposal
Materials should be treated as substances of unknown biological activity and handled accordingly, using the personal protective equipment, containment, and engineering controls appropriate to your facility and its risk assessment.
Recommended storage conditions are stated on each listing and on the vial label. Materials are supplied lyophilized and are shipped at ambient temperature; we do not use cold-chain shipping. Once material leaves our control we can make no assessment of the conditions under which it has been stored, and we bear no responsibility for degradation, contamination, or loss of integrity arising after delivery.
Disposal must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local waste regulations and with your institution's own requirements. We do not accept returned material for disposal.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALL MATERIALS ARE SUPPLIED "AS IS" AND "WITH ALL FAULTS." EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED CONFORMITY UNDERTAKING SET OUT IN OUR SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY, BNM RESEARCH PEPTIDES MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY MATERIAL IS SAFE, EFFECTIVE, STABLE, STERILE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY APPLICATION, AND WE MAKE NO WARRANTY WHATSOEVER REGARDING ANY USE IN OR ON A HUMAN BEING OR AN ANIMAL, SUCH USE BEING EXPRESSLY PROHIBITED.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. In that event, any implied warranty is limited in duration to the shortest period permitted by applicable law.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BNM RESEARCH PEPTIDES, ITS OWNER, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, RESEARCH, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY MATERIAL SUPPLIED BY US OR TO THIS WEBSITE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY ORDER SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC MATERIAL GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
We accept no liability whatsoever — and you release us in full — for any injury, illness, disability, death, loss, or damage arising from or relating to the administration of any material to a human being or an animal, or from any use outside in-vitro laboratory research. Such use is expressly prohibited, is a breach of the covenant you gave us, is outside the scope of any duty we owe you, and is undertaken entirely at your own risk.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in this Policy excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BNM Research Peptides, BNM Research Peptides LLC, and their owner, employees, contractors, agents, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, investigations, proceedings, liabilities, damages, penalties, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and the costs of responding to any regulatory enquiry) arising out of or relating to:
- your breach of this Policy, the research use covenant, or our Terms of Service;
- your use, handling, storage, transfer, or disposal of any material supplied by us;
- any administration of any material to a human being or an animal by you or by any person to whom you transferred it;
- any misrepresentation you made to us regarding your age, identity, affiliation, location, or intended use;
- your violation of any law, regulation, licence condition, or third-party right.
This obligation survives termination of your account and completion of any order.
13. Enforcement and account termination
We monitor orders and communications for indications of non-research use. Where we identify a breach or a credible risk of one, we may take any or all of the following steps without prior notice: cancel pending orders; refuse to release material already paid for; issue a refund and terminate the relationship; suspend or permanently close your account; retain records of the transaction and the affirmations you provided; report the matter to relevant authorities where we are required or permitted to do so.
A refund issued in these circumstances is not an admission of any kind and does not waive any right or remedy available to us.
14. Changes to this policy
We may revise this Policy at any time. The version in force at the time you place an order governs that order. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be posted here, and your continued use of this website after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
